1. Could you describe your work?
Creativity is limitless to me and freedom of expression is the most valuable thing. Versatility and originality are essential elements in my work . As a visual artist there are always concepts floating in my head but I am a painter more than anything, love the feeling of creating a two dimensional image which could even expand into a multidimensional brain storm. Normally I only have virtual sketches in my head but the process of each work turns into an exiting performance.
2.What are you referring to? What are the references enclosed in your work?
Every little thing in life could be meaningful and turn into an art work. I have no boundaries but most of the time references to my cultural heritage is inevitable. I could easily start painting from nothingness and end up into everything, from a poetic dance of a tree leaf to a dramatic love story, from historical to day by day political issues. They are all about the true meaning of life.
3.How would you like your artwork to be red or felt by the audience?
The purpose of the solo performance in the studio with no audience is to reach the real viewers who could feel the creative process and hear the music of it. I always leave room for my audience to perform their own and get their imagination to work. It makes me happier if they make their own stories rather than giving them a clear message.
4. What is the most intimate part of this artwork?
Performing the creative process, with or without the audience.
