a leap into paradiese, OI#10135 Acrystal-laminate with aluminium-clad
1. Could you describe your work?
The form of, a leap into paradise, OI#10135 is the result of digging myself into 9 tons of clay from a pit called Paradies. The aluminium ennobled cast is hanging as a kind of space-sculpture from the ceiling of the main exposition venue.
2.What are you referring to? What are the references enclosed in your work?
Yves Klein’s ‘leap in to the void’.
3.How would you like your artwork to be red or felt by the audience?
The work does not prescribe this or that attitude. The work is in fact an intersection of idea and experience, of subjective and objective, of actual and potential
4. What is the most intimate part of this artwork?
The absence of people, or the ‘trace’ of the other – not as spectators, but as fellow inhabitants of the places I created – install a subtle and compelling social dimension.
